Welcome in. This site is built like a shop because that is honestly how my projects happen: something catches my curiosity, it goes on the workbench, and eventually it ends up on a shelf where visitors can poke at it.
Why a shopfront?
My GitHub bio says “curiosity drives me to build stuff,” and a portfolio full of identical project cards didn’t feel like it kept that promise. A shop did: an awning over the door, builds on the shelves, tools on the board, and a front desk where you can actually reach me.
How it’s built
The site is Astro with Tailwind, deployed free on GitHub Pages. Every post here is a markdown file committed to the repo — no CMS, no database, nothing to maintain except the writing itself.
The brand — the awning logo, the terracotta palette, the type — came out of a design session with a set of rules I now swear by: no beige backgrounds, no emoji as icons, and if a design could be mistaken for a template, start over.
More notes soon. The workbench is never empty for long.
